Where can I meet the employers and network?

Click on the "Companies" tab to read about all the exhibitors and to initiate a webchat. You can also visit the "Jobs" section to conduct a job search, initiate a job specific webchat and to apply for roles. 

Can I get help or speak with a member of the STEM Women team?

Yes. Within the "Companies" tab you can see that there is a listing for "Event Organiser Helpdesk". Visit this page to initiate a webchat, or call 0151 236 8000.

Speaker Sessions:

The below speaker sessions will take place within the "LIVE Presentations" section.

Event Timings:

Noon – Event begins in the ‘Live Presentations’ area. Welcome talk with Sophie Chadwick, Events Manager at STEM Women.

12:10pm - Sarah Perugia Skill Session, “Coaching masterclass focussing on practical techniques that enable you to interview and present with confidence".

12:30pm – Live networking begins and continues until the event ends. Attendees can visit company stands, network with employers and search live jobs!

12:50pm – "Morgan Stanley, Who We Are". Jennifer Paterson, HR Coordinator and Melanie Lamb, Head of Glasgow Graduate Recruitment, at Morgan Stanley.

1:15pm - "‘Find out more about our student opportunities at EY and tips on how to apply from our Student Recruitment team. Whether you are in your 1st year of university, or graduating soon, we could have a role that is right for you." Rachel Graham and Claire Hughes. Student Recruitment Advisors at EY.

1:40pm - “Learn more about the early career programs at BlackRock and how you can make a strong application”. Katie Rumbles, Campus Recruitment, Vice President at BlackRock.

2:05pm - "How I went from studying a life science to joining the Accenture Graduate Scheme and working in technology". Sausan Naqvi, Application Development Associate at Accenture.

2:30pm - "Introducing career oppoprtunities within Baillie Gifford".  Victoria MacGillivray, Early Careers Consultant, and Russell Glencross, IS Talent and Devellopment Lead, at Baillie Gifford.

2:55pm - "My career after completing my PhD" with Danat Khatabil, Junior Data Engineer, and "Role of a DevOps Engineer" with Marina McCulloch, Dev Ops Engineer, at GFT Financial.

3:20pm – Panel discussion – Ask your questions to a panel of women working in STEM industries! Gain a fascinating first hand-insight from inspiring panellists.

4:00pm – Networking focus – having been inspired by our speakers, panellists and companies, be sure to use the last 30 minutes of the event to network and apply for job roles you’re interested in.

4:30pm - Event ends.
